Poll: Musk Most Effective Trump Surrogate as Voters Rally Behind DOGE, Deportations, and Congressional Republicans
WASHINGTON, D.C. (December 16, 2024) – Cygnal, one of the nation’s fastest growing and most accurate private polling firms, released the following national poll (conducted Dec. 9-11) of 1,500 likely general election voters. “President-elect Trump is riding new all-time highs as he charges forward on an aggressive transition and agenda,” said Pollster and Cygnal President, Brent Buchanan. “Not only are voters optimistic about his second term but they also remain supportive of mass deportations to fix America’s illegal immigration crisis and overwhelmingly support Trump’s DOGE initiative lead by Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy. Republican optimism and enthusiasm are soaring while Democrats and Kamala Harris continue to see declines in their images among the American people further proving Trump’s mandate to lead is firmly cemented in the electorate ahead of the holidays and Inauguration Day.”

On Election Day, Cygnal conducted a massive, multi-modal national exit poll of 9,000 voters. We found this was very much a realignment election, driven by changes in key generational and racial groups. The Republican Party is increasingly multi-racial and working class, with strong support among married adults; the Democratic Party is increasingly a coalition of college-educated and older voters.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (November 1, 2024) – Cygnal, one of the nation’s fastest growing and most accurate private polling firms, released the following Virginia statewide poll (conducted Oct. 27-29) of 600 likely general election voters. “Trump continues to gain ground among non-college educated voters whereas Harris is performing on par with Clinton and Biden’s number from 2016 and 2020,” said Pollster and Director of Political Strategy, Mitch Brown. “Combine Trump’s gains and Harris’ flatlines with the fact that 55 percent of Virginia voters think the Commonwealth is headed in the right direction and over 52 percent approve of the job Governor Youngkin is doing means the momentum is with Republicans with just to go to Election Day.”

WASHINGTON, D.C. (October 31, 2024) – Cygnal, one of the nation’s fastest growing and most accurate private polling firms, released the following national poll (conducted Oct. 24-26) of 1,507 likely general election voters. “Republican enthusiasm has increased by 10 points this month, and while there are more Republicans who are voting early, it’s important to not read too much into it,” said Pollster and Cygnal President, Brent Buchanan. “Harris managed to increase her favorable image significantly in her first month, in large part due to glowing media coverage, but nothing about this election has been normal – meaning its outcome probably won’t be normal either. A focus on male voters, especially young men, is a new phenomenon in elections, and how this group turns out compared to non-college and college-educated women could have a noticeable impact.”
