What are the job responsibilities:

  • Influence and support decisions on organization design, culture, talent diversity, end-to-end people strategies, and strategic planning
  • Design and implement the recruitment strategy to include sourcing candidates through Linkedin, job boards, etc.
  • Work with managers to develop job descriptions and postings.
  • Filter through candidates and conduct interviews with a focus on skills, experience, culture fit, drive, and soft skills
  • Coordinate all next steps in the interview process, serve as a point of contact to candidates throughout to ensure they remain engaged
  • Onboard new team members in conjunction with managers until fully settled in
  • Prepare and review compensation, benefits packages, and offers
  • Administer health and life insurance and other benefits programs
  • Implement individual training and development plans in conjunction with managers
  • Drive HR communications and initiatives throughout the company
  • Serve as an advocate for team members to the leadership team
  • Manage human resources compliance to local, state, and federal law
  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues
  • Manage human resources compliance to local, state, and federal law

Who qualifies for this role?

  • 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources (or relevant field) including benefits, compliance, etc.
  • 1-3 years of experience recruiting talent with more than an 85% retention rate
  • Tech-savvy and adept at learning new tools and technologies
  • Decision-making skills and a tendency to over-communicate
  • Adept at talent management software and skills assessment tools
  • Team sports background would be cool…shows collaboration and competition skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources (or related field) is beneficial, but not required
