Ivey Picks Up Steam; Undecideds Start to Choose in Sec. State, PSC#1, PSC#2 & Auditor Races



On May 30, 2014, Cygnal, a full-service campaign and communications firm, released a Flash Poll for the Alabama Republican Primary elections runoff to be held on June 3, 2014. The survey has a statistical margin of error of 2.81%.

According to the survey, Dr. Robert Bentley continues to pick up steam topping 80%, a move of 7.5 points since our survey last week. “Most Improved” Award goes to Lt. Governor Kay Ivey with a huge jump to 53.3%, a shift of 20.2 points.

Undecided voters are starting to make up their minds in the races for Secretary of State, Public Service Commission #1, Public Service Commission #2, and Auditor. The biggest movers were Jeremy Oden in PSC#2 from 19.8% to 35.5%, and John Merrill in Sec. State from 8.5% to 19.3%.
