Jaime was very close to enrolling in law school, when he realized his true passion for finance and accounting in a high school trial course. Although he does not exclude the possibility of getting his law degree in the future, he is now 100% focused on being a great accountant and making the company perform financially better every day. Jaime describes himself as someone who always likes to step up to a challenge, likes to work under pressure, and is willing to give his best no matter the obstacles. He also is a huge basketball fan. He even attended NBA Camps as a child, played at a semi-pro level, and has a sports podcast with his friends (yes, he’s a die-hard fan). He’s also a literature geek and enjoys spending time with animals in nature (foxes are his favorite animal)!
What is a typical day at Cygnal like for you?
We like to run daily financial updates to keep track of performance measures. Later in the day, I work with the team in financial flows and projections. Our department supplies information directly for the whole team, so accuracy and efficiency are extremely important.

Dreams do come true, one must walk by faith.
Who is someone you admire?
I always looked up to my grandfather. He had to go through many obstacles before becoming who he was.
What was your first job?
My first job was working at my parents friend’s grocery store when I was around 13 years old.
What motivated you to select this career path?
My passion for languages and numbers, especially accounting and finance.
