When he was a kid, Mau never dreamed of becoming a statistician, but he is proud that he is one now. He enjoys learning new things may it be in statistics or any. Mau also indulges in video games, anime, or Korean dramas during his free time.

I like fixing things, especially when my gadgets encounter problems or some household items need minor repairs.
What was your first job?
My first job was a summer job in our municipal office, where I got to experience roaming our public market to collect the price data of different commodities.

I love to travel and visit many places and countries, but I always wanted to arrive at my every destination as quickly as possible. I wish I have teleportation to use anytime when there is somewhere I need to go.
What is your most significant accomplishment as a professional?
My most significant achievement is writing a paper on developing an efficient sampling strategy for the Research and Development Survey in the Philippines. This paper was one of the outputs of our completed project that improved the design, conduct, and analysis of the said survey.
