Patrizia Pisano

BI Analyst / Photography Enthusiast

Patrizia Pisano, or Trizia as her family and friends call her, never liked Math subject when she was younger. Little did she know, she will eventually learn to love it leading her to a Statistics degree, and work with numbers and data for more than 5 years now. She also tutors Math on the side, loves swimming and travelling whenever she can.

Do you have any skills or talents that people don’t know about?
I have gained patience being with kids through my early exposure with my mom’s Math tutorial center. Also, I am a favorite ‘tag-along/nanny’ of my friends and relatives when they need help with their kids.

If I were a superhero, my superhero would be…
Teleportation. I love travelling. For me, it’s the best way to create memories with my loved ones, while appreciating God’s wonderful creation. 😊

The best piece of advice I’ve ever been given is…
“If you pray, you do not worry. If you worry, you did not pray.” Ever since I have heard this statement in high school, this has helped me since how to handle life’s challenges that come my way.

What is your most significant accomplishment as a professional?
When I was younger, I dislike Math, but through patience and perseverance, eventually loved it and became my favorite subject; thanks to my teacher who taught us how to have fun while learning. From this experience, I always try to share this learning to my students too so that they won’t fear or hate Math anymore.

As a part-time Math tutor, it is a rewarding feeling to hear feedbacks from our students’ parents that they are starting to love Math which is quite an achievement for us as a start. Who knows, these kids will someday be successful data scientists?
